A membership for active people who connect through play.
Breathe brings people together through sport, wellness, recovery, hospitality, food, music, travel, and the shared rituals that make people easier to know.
Our editorial team covers the people, places, and ideas shaping new forms of play, then helps turn the strongest signals into member experiences.
Breathe follows the people and places changing how we live.
Our Journal covers the stories behind new forms of play, gathering, recovery, travel, and hospitality. The membership turns that perspective into something lived: Residencies, private tables, sport, music, homes, and time together.
People need better reasons to be together in person.
Too much professional and social life has become static, transactional, and strangely bad at making people feel human.
Breathe started from the opposite instinct: give people something to do together, and the room changes.
Play is not the whole point. It is the way in.
THE PRINCIPLE
People connect faster when they are doing something together.
A match, a surf session, a long table, a listening night, a recovery circuit, or a hike gives people something to share before they have to explain themselves. Play is the way in. The people make the place.
The story starts with what we notice.
Breathe began with a simple instinct: the most interesting parts of a city are rarely sitting on the obvious calendar.
They are on the court after the match, at the table after dinner, in the listening room, at the recovery space, inside the private home, around the founder who knows how to host, or in the slightly unserious activity that makes serious people relax.
The journal is where we follow that story in public: people, places, rituals, hosts, homes, courts, tables, recovery spaces, artists, athletes, founders, and cultural moments shaping the next version of active social life.
The membership turns the story into something lived.
Breathe exists because people did not only want to read about this world. They wanted to be inside it.
Members gather through Residencies, private tables, play-led formats, recovery rituals, music, travel, and homes worth returning to.
Residencies are how Breathe appears across the U.S.: monthly pop-ups and temporary Breathe worlds built around culture, sport, food, music, recovery, and place. Homes are where Breathe returns. The Cree in Palm Springs is the first Home.
One idea. Three ways in.
Breathe is the membership. The stories is where we notice the signals. Residencies are where Breathe appears and returns.

Play is broader than games.
Play might mean padel, tennis, surf, golf, a recovery circuit, a hike, backgammon after dinner, a listening session, a chef-led table, or a format no one has bothered to name yet.
The activity is not decoration. It gives people a reason to participate before they perform.
Not another club with better lighting.
Breathe is not a networking group, ticketed event company, wellness blog, social app, luxury travel club, or padel brand.
Those categories circle the work, but they do not define it.
Find your way in.
A beautiful setting can still feel empty. The right people make it more alive, more generous, and more worth planning around. Tell us what you would bring into the membership.
